The ONS reported that during 2020 there was a 7% drop in sexual offences, 42% drop in thefts from the person and 24% drop in burglary .
It is also important to remember that some charities and support groups believe that domestic abuse may have seen a significant increase.
As an individual make sure that as you return you are aware of what is going on around you at all times. As an organisation make sure you have the processes and systems in place to support your people.
